Welcome to Rota27 Travel. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and self-drive car rental services. By booking or using a vehicle from Rota27 Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from Rota27 Travel, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age (or the minimum age required by applicable law).
- Hold a valid driving licence recognized in India.
- Provide valid government-issued identity proof.
- Submit all required documents before vehicle handover.
Rota27 Travel reserves the right to refuse any booking that does not meet eligibility requirements.
2. Booking Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after successful verification and receipt of the applicable payment.
- Vehicle availability is subject to confirmation.
- Rota27 Travel reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking if required documentation is incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent.
3. Vehicle Handover
Before taking possession of the vehicle, the customer should:
- Inspect the vehicle for any existing damage.
- Verify fuel level and accessories.
- Ensure all reported observations are recorded.
- Carry all required documents during the rental period.
Acceptance of the vehicle indicates that it has been received in satisfactory condition unless otherwise noted.
4. Rental Duration
- The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the agreed drop-off time.
- Late returns may attract additional rental charges.
- Early returns generally do not qualify for a refund unless approved by Rota27 Travel.
5. Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit may be required before vehicle delivery.
- The amount depends on the selected vehicle category.
- The deposit may be adjusted against unpaid dues, traffic violations, damages, fuel shortages, or other applicable charges.
- Any remaining eligible balance will be refunded after inspection and settlement.
6. Customer Responsibilities
The renter agrees to:
- Drive responsibly and follow all traffic laws.
- Keep the vehicle secure when unattended.
- Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes.
- Return the vehicle in substantially the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.
- Immediately report accidents, theft, breakdowns, or mechanical issues.
The customer is responsible for any penalties arising from misuse or negligence.
7. Prohibited Uses
The vehicle must not be used for:
- Racing, drifting, or speed testing.
- Off-road driving unless specifically permitted.
- Commercial passenger transport or goods transportation without authorization.
- Illegal activities.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances.
- Allowing an unauthorized or unlicensed person to drive.
- Overloading beyond the manufacturer’s recommended capacity.
Violation of these conditions may result in immediate termination of the rental and additional liability.
8. Fuel Policy
Unless otherwise specified:
- Vehicles should be returned with approximately the same fuel level as at pickup.
- Fuel shortages may be charged along with applicable service fees.
9. Traffic Violations
The customer is solely responsible for:
- Traffic challans
- Parking fines
- Toll charges
- E-challans
- Any penalties incurred during the rental period
Rota27 Travel may recover unpaid charges from the customer or adjust them against the security deposit.
10. Accidents and Damage
In the event of an accident:
- Inform Rota27 Travel immediately.
- Notify local authorities where legally required.
- Do not abandon the vehicle.
- Cooperate with insurance and investigation procedures.
The customer may be responsible for repair costs, insurance deductibles, or losses resulting from negligence, unauthorized use, or violation of these Terms.
11. Breakdown Assistance
If a mechanical breakdown occurs during normal authorized use, contact Rota27 Travel immediately. Assistance will be provided as reasonably possible.
Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications is the customer’s responsibility.
12. Cancellation by Rota27 Travel
Rota27 Travel reserves the right to cancel a booking due to:
- Vehicle unavailability.
- Safety concerns.
- Incorrect documentation.
- Fraudulent activity.
- Force majeure or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where applicable, eligible payments will be refunded according to the Refund Policy.
13. Limitation of Liability
Rota27 Travel shall not be liable for:
- Loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle.
- Delays caused by weather, road closures, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the vehicle, except where required by applicable law.
14. Website Usage
Users agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
- Interfere with website functionality.
- Upload malicious software.
- Misuse booking forms or contact information.
15. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and branding, is the property of Rota27 Travel unless otherwise stated.
No material may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
16. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
18. Changes to These Terms
Rota27 Travel may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page and become effective immediately upon publication.
